“Basically, carbon is a big gay black leather daddy.”

can we please keep the hipster plague out of the lab? i’m very worried about getting infected…
Whats wrong with being hip? I for one wish to look like Ben Kingsley’s twin when I am fully ripe

Pretty good pretty good.
I saw this yesterday, which also has some great videos and demonstrations :

This guy is awesome. Look at the gallium beating heart.
That was really cool. I didn’t even get to that one yet.
I wonder what they wanted to show with this video… for now I’d like to think that the elements symbols on the backs of these freaks are just a coincidence.
Wow… Best Chem Video Ever.
I’m hawt for carbon.
The pi-cloud crap is overrated. Grow a diamond the size of a solid coffee mug and visit West 47th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, in Manhattan. Aliphatic carbon is good enough.
I´ve seen the video before. It´s pretty funny
I did not know the cool Periodic table videos on youtube however. Thanks for sharing this!
I think some hard-core total synthesis PhD student should start a video blog of his daily life in the lab with the whole spectrum of things happening there (reactions that don´t work, PI´s that make you work harder, bitching labmates …)
That would be cool…
Certainly its better promotion of chemistry than the art on this water bottle in Germany: http://c182skylane.deviantart.com/art/Konstanz-Stadt-am-134692947
